Each Bee Pollen capsule consists of bee saliva and enzymes. It is mixed with the pollen that the bees have brought back to their hive. The pollen is then packed into granules; honey and nectar are sometimes added. Bee pollen contains small amounts of vitamins, minerals, carbohydrates, proteins, and fat as well. The Pollen will vary from batch to batch and by location because the components are unique to the plants the bees have pollinated.
If pollen is collected from residential or farming areas where pesticides are used, the chemicals will remain in the final product.
Bee pollen may be confused with honey, honeycomb, propolis, royal jelly, and bee venom, though none of these products contain bee pollen.
As a dietary supplement, take 2-4 capsules once or twice a day.
Note: Bee products may cause an allergic reaction in some people. To test, pull apart capsule and place small amount under tongue. If there is no reaction, gradually increase intake for first time users.
